The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association has announced its 纬来体育官网 All-State basketball honorees, and four Pace Knights are on the list! Congratulations to varsity girls basketball player Jordan Upchurch and varsity boys players Matthew Cleveland, Madison Durr and Cole Middleton!  

In the event that you missed your chance to order boys basketball state-championship gear, Pace Athletics has opened another online store, which closes on Monday, March 23. Shop now! All previous team-store orders have already been processed and will be sent directly to your home.

Finally, given that the National Lacrosse League has suspended its season, Pace night at the Swarm has been postponed until further notice. 

On March 5, the varsity boys basketball team defeated the Jefferson High School Dragons 34-28 to claim the GHSA Class AAA state title! The victory followed a hard-fought match in which the Knights trailed until the third quarter. 

Following the game, junior Madison Durr was named Third Team All-State, and juniors Cole Middleton and Matthew Cleveland received First Team All-State honors. In addition, Cleveland was named Class AAA Player of the Year and a Jersey Mike’s All American. He also received Naismith National All-American Honorable Mention. With the win, head coach Sharman White notched his eighth career state title and a 28-4 final record.

On Feb. 19, the varsity boys basketball team defeated Beach High School to advance to the Elite Eight round of the state tournament. Game date, time and location have not yet been set. Follow Pace Athletics on Twitter and Instagram for updates. 

This Friday, Feb. 21, at our Riverview Sports Complex, the varsity soccer teams host McIntosh at 6 and 8 p.m. at Walsh Field, and baseball hosts Mays High School at 5:55 p.m. JV and varsity girls lacrosse play at Marist at 5:30 and 7 p.m., respectively.
